Hourly Paid Lecturer in Public Services
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Public Services and Science. This role would be perfectly suited to someone with experience of teaching physical exercise and activity sessions.
We are looking for an Hourly Paid Lecturer who is enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives and careers of our learners.
Whilst teaching experience would be a bonus, we are keen to hear from people with a high level of industry knowledge and career experience that they can impart to others, if you are willing to engage in teacher training in the future.
You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, working in our well-equipped facilities, teaching across a range of public services curriculum programmes. You will be teaching for approximately 10 hours a week across BTEC Levels 1 – 3.
The team and our learners already benefit from excellent links with local employers, but any opportunity to further these links is always welcomed.
The successful candidates must be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team.
You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
This is a fixed term position initially until 30 June 2019 which will be reviewed annually in line with course enrolments.
The closing date for applications is Friday 9th November 2018 with interviews week commencing Monday 12 November 2018.
The successful candidate will join the school of Public Services and Science team, reporting to Head of School, Alex Bodian.
