As a team our role is to create an efficient and effective business creating more selling time through continuous improvement and this role is essential to the success of this.

As a CRM Manager you be the first point of contact and subject matter expert to all end users across GoCardless. You will work closely with the Global Sales Operations Director and other members of the team to ensure that our CRM (Salesforce.com) but also other 3rd party applications are fit for purpose, adding value and being utilised to their full potential.

You will be responsible for the day to day administration of Salesforce.com as well as being responsible for delivering key projects related to the systems that support our Sales, Marketing and Customer Success functions.

*Daily tasks and focuses will include:*

* Improving the system through understanding and resolving day-to-day queries from stakeholders in relation to the processes followed, the reporting suite and connected tools / products.
* Performing bulk changes, data loads and general maintenance activities to ensure that our data integrity is at the highest level possible.
* Working with various member of the Sales Operations function to ensure that users have the right tools, knowledge and documentation to be effective using our technology stack, both when they join GoCardless but on an ongoing basis.

*Ongoing focuses and projects will include:*

* Reviewing, maintaining and evolving our technology stack to support the long term business strategy and the evolving needs for Demand Generation, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and other departments.
* Undertake Salesforce release management including a Sandbox process and working with Sales Enablement ensure training and communication is executed in a timely proactive manner.
* Ongoing development of the platform to ensure that all areas including custom objects, page layouts, workflows and the process builder are optimised for use by all teams across GoCardless.

*Skills, know-how and experience:*

*Must have:*

* Salesforce.com experience (ideally ADM-201 or above)
* Advanced excel skills
* Strong project management experience, both short term and long term
* Worked on as a Salesforce.com administrator or developer more than one instance of Salesforce
* The ability to effectively communicate at all levels and translate technical information into non technical language.
* A passion for problem solving both strategically and by getting your hands dirty

*Preferred skills - nice to have:*

* Prior Sales Operations experience
* Prior Sales experience
* Working knowledge of Agile or service delivery
* Salesforce.com development experience
* Salesforce.com APEX knowledge
* Experience with 3rd party applications:
Pardot
Gainsight
Taskfeed
NewVoiceMedia
Customer engagement tools
