Michels &Taylor LLP are currently seeking an ambitious individual for a Commercial Data Analyst apprentice position within their young and dynamic office in Elstree.
Main responsibilitiesTo support the delivery of targeted and timely information (data), using M&Ts slick reporting protocol, with good use of illustrations where necessary. To be responsible for managing the departments email communications, within the timeline SOP promoted by M&T Analytic; both to internal and external contacts. Maintain regular checks of all distribution channels for hotel positioning, price parity, information accuracy and competitor positioning when required by the Managed team. To coordinate and support the delivery of hotel & market analysis for AMC projects. Coordinate month-end information in preparation for hotel reviews, following the set protocol of data capture, consolidation, evaluation and delivery. To maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders at all times. To carry out all duties in tune with the analytics ways of working. Assist with the timely completion of all regular monthly and quarterly reporting whether core business or independent clients. To carry out competitor and market investigation to keep constantly aware of market trends e.g. STRG, Deloitte, BDO and HotStats for our clients as well as their competitors. Where required, assist the Commercial team with project-work, research and analysis. To fully embrace a varied work allocation as it comes your way within the Top Line remit.

Desired qualificationA-Levels in ICT/Business/Computing Or an Apprenticeship in a similar subject (this must be at least the level below the planned programme) Or an International Baccalaureate at level 3 in ICT Or a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits) For any City and Guilds programmes, the learner must be 18 on the first day of their apprenticeship
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
£12,000 per annum
