At Select Norwich, we are currently recruiting for a part-time Finance Assistant/Credit Controller on behalf of our client based in Norwich City Centre.

This is initially a 12 month contract, with the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

* Assist with day-to-day running of the finance function
* Ensure clients records are well maintained at all times
* Carry out invoicing in a timely manner and chase outstanding payments via email, letter and telephone
* Assist with month-end and year-end procedures
* Streamline processes to ensure effective running of the department
* Any other duties as required by the business

Experience and Skills Required:

* Quickbooks experience desired
* Strong experience in credit control
* Warm and friendly telephone manner
* Proficient in MS Office, i.e. Excel
* A strong team player

Personal Characteristics:

* Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
* Confident communicator
* Hardworking, diligent and proactive
* Passionate and helpful
