Who are we looking for?

Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a qualified, committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Health and Social Care curriculum team.
The successful candidate will teach across a range of Health and Social Care courses and modules from programme levels 1 to 3, aligned to their occupational skillset to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessments to our learners. In this role the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate innovative teaching and learning, coupled with excellent communication skills to motivate and guide learners to succeed.
Applicants will ideally hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or related subject and have substantial industry experience within the occupational setting. The College welcomes applications from vocational specialists in such fields as nursing, midwifery, social care, psychology and physiotherapy who desire to pursue a career in further education.
