Job Title: Accounts Assistant – Part Time
Salary: £18,000 per annum (pro rata), 25 days holiday, 5% employer pension
Location: Holsworthy

Acorn Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Accounts assistant near Holsworthy This is a permanent, part time vacancy working for a well-established and reputable local manufacturer.
Purpose of the role: To provide support in the finance departments to all employees and client ensuring compliance and all administration is completely effectively and accurately.
Responsibilities Include:

* Manage accounts, receivable and payable
* Process sales and purchase invoices
* Contacting customers to ensure invoices are paid on time, and following up on late payments
* Maintain accuracy of sales and purchase ledgers
* Check and pay expenses
* Manage online banking and reconcile all bank accounts
* Process payroll
* Prepare and submit VAT returns
* Assist in preparation of year end audit
* Administer day to day finances, and assist in other finance duties as required by the company

Experience Required:

* Experience of working within a similar role and environment
* Knowledge of Sage Accounting software
* Knowledge of payroll processes
* Educated to college level education
* Driving license and own transport
