We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to work as part of a friendly, highly specialised team in the Integrated Therapy Service (ITS) for Children and Young People within Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The service is delivered by four integrated therapy teams working geographically across Somerset, within clinics, mainstream and special schools, children’s centres, other preschool settings, family homes and in-reach into acute trusts. We have a close working partnership with education and with health colleagues in other services. We are a proactive and forward thinking service with established links to regional and national strategies.

A post in the ITS provides the opportunity to develop integrated working with colleagues from Occupational therapy and Speech and Language Therapy as well as ongoing professional development as a Physiotherapist. We provide regular clinical supervision and teaching from more experienced therapists. Clinical leads within paediatric physiotherapy are able to offer high quality supervision, teaching and support.

As a band 6 there are opportunities to develop particular areas of clinical interests and use this to support and develop the frame work for countywide service delivery.

The post holder will assess, diagnose and manage intervention for children and young people with a range of motor, sensory, musculoskeletal, respiratory and neurological difficulties, within skill-mixed teams.

All candidates must hold a full and valid UK driving licence and have access to their own car for travel purposes.

Our values are simple: Outstanding Care, Working Together, Listening and Leading.

We recognise that our staff are our most valuable resource, we are proud of the excellent levels of service our Trust provides to our service users and the dedication and conscientious of our staff. With this in mind, we offer a range of staff benefits including:
