Residential Care Worker
Our client provides therapeutic care and education to 6-12 year olds with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders across Cumbria and is currently seeking to add a number of Residential Care Workers to their existing staff on a permanent basis.
- Residential Care Workers
- QCF/NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care- Children and Young People's Workforce-desirable (unqualified staff are also encouraged to apply)
- 1 year experience working with young people-essential
- Residential care homes for 6-12 year olds with EBD
- All homes rated "Good" and "Outstanding" by Ofsted
- £17,681-£20,541 per annum
- Permanent contract
- Cumbria (Grange-Over-Sands, Natland and Kendal)
- Immediate start
Our client has care homes across the Cumbria region, with associated schools and additional therapeutic services. The company in question is the outstanding provider of therapeutic care and specialist education to primary aged EBD children, all schools and homes are rated as "Good" and "Outstanding" by Ofsted.
The successful applicant will ideally hold a Level 3 qualification for the children and young people's workforce but this is not essential, unqualified applicants are welcome to apply. Successful applicants will receive outstanding training and development opportunities including an in-house diploma and a wide range of other courses as well as clear paths to career progression.
