Support Worker 

Hft is a national charity that's been supporting people with learning disabilities since 1962. We put the people we support at the centre of everything we do and use our experience to work in partnership with them to provide personalised services to more than 2,500 people. 

Hft Sheffield and Derbyshire are recruiting part and full-time Support Workers, covering locations across the region. 

Position: Support Worker 
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire and Derbyshire – Various Locations 
Job type: Part and Full-time 
Contract: Permanent (flexible relief contracts also available) 
Hours: 15 to 37.5 hours per week available and flexible relief hours 
Hourly rate: Starting from £8.00 up to £8.40 per hour (Qualification dependent) 
Bank Holidays +20% and Christmas Bank Holidays +50%. 
Additional Enhancements: Weekend Hours: earn an extra £0.50 per hour 
Overtime Rate: base rate plus an extra 15% 
Sleep-in shift: £7.83 per hour

Hft Support Workers provide 24/7 support to some people, so this role would suit you if you like the idea of working shifts and hours that include some weekends, sleep-in duties and Bank Holidays. You may also get the opportunity to accompany the people we support on holidays and attend training courses and other activities. 

About you: 

You don’t need experience of Support Work or any special qualifications for this job - you’ll get plenty of training along the way. 

What matters most is your positive attitude to life and your desire to support people to live their life with as much independence, choice, dignity and control as possible.
