My Client who are a Central Milton Keynes based organisation (free parking is available within easy walking distance) are seeking a new member of staff for their Finance function, to cover all financial duties whilst liaising with an external accountant. This role is to be performed on a Part Time basis and the client is happy to be flexible on how these hours are taken, either in block days or limited hours across the working week.

Duties within this role will include:

· Maintenance of the Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledgers ensuring that all invoices are coded correctly and that the correct VAT details are applied

· Utilise Sage Line 50 to perform all reconciliation work to both the bank accounts and the balance sheet

· Perform any credit control duties when required

· Administration of the Payroll, ensuring that all timesheets and contracted hours are correct

· Managing the petty cash ensuring that all floats are constantly reconciled

· Support senior management with Cash flow

To be suitable for this position, you will ideally have experience of performing an all-round accounting position for a small to medium enterprise, and be seeking a position on a part time basis. This is a sole role and so responsibility for the organisations accounts will fall upon your shoulders and so confidence to work at this level is key
