Group Sales Coordinator - New Opening
At the heart of our hotels are of course our people who through their vibrancy and energy bring our properties to life. We are now seeking a team of diverse and dynamic individuals that will capture the very essence of the Standard London to join our team as a Group Sales Coordinator.As our Group Sales Coordinator you will provide administrative and office support to our Group Sales Managers in addition to general sales support to our wider sales team as we introduce the Standard London to our clients and associated business partners. This will be a particularly busy role as we move closer to our opening and we start scheduling site visits for clients, host fam trips and begin dealing with group enquires; so you need to be prepared to expect the unexpected and be ready to support the team across all these areas and provide the ultimate in client service delivery, that is anything but Standard!So it goes without saying that you will need to be highly social, upbeat and friendly; confident and can handle pressure well; thrive in a high volume, high energy environment and can manage both detailed administration task and converse comfortably with a diverse range a clients whilst confidently promoting our products and services. You’ll intrinsically understand the unique microcosm and the context of our venues and city you represent.While prior experience as a Group Sales Coordinator is always useful all are welcome at the Standard; you will have however an uncompromised and natural flair for Sales and be able to build genuine relationships with our clients that enable us to not only pre-empt needs but foresee desires. In addition to this you will also need….A proven track record in a similar Group Sales Coordinator or Group Reservations role with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’, or boutique hotel sectorHighly motivated and pro-active; able to act with integrity, professionalism and positivity in all employee interactionsHave exceptional administration and organisation skills with great attention to detail combined with a natural ability and passion for sales.Prior experience of using Opera, Delphi, Salesforce and Microsoft Office.Opening experience preferredWe are defined by our richness of personality and diversity of background and lifestyle so if you think you have what it takes to be a Group Sales Coordinator we’d love to meet with you.All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
