If you're ready to elevate your career in the kitchen and are eager to develop and grow in pastry and bakery, then we are looking for you!You'll need at least a year of previous experience in a Pastry Demi Chef role in a high-volume kitchen.The ability to keep a level head, even when the pressure goes up.Ensuring that designated stations are properly set up and operational.Preparation of all food items in designated station in accordance to approved recipes and presentation.Dealing with operational issues that may arise and ensuring that food quality remains consistently high.Carrying out spot checks of desserts presented to maintain quality control.Ensuring that food Health & Safety practices are adhered to at all times, including cleanliness and storage of raw produce. RequirementsAs Pastry Chef de Partie and Demi you will have a passion for creating high quality desserts with the ability to show creativity and a desire to learn and develop your pastry skills. Working in the pastry kitchen you will be supported and developed by the senior chefs in the brigade to further develop your pastry skills. As Pastry Chef you will be expected to take responsibility for the effective execution of the dishes in the section ensuring consistent presentation and the highest standards are achieved at all times.
