Job overview / purpose:

The role is based at our Head Office in Houghton Regis Bedfordshire.

Are you looking for a role where you will gain on the job experience within a successful HR department whilst studying? You will get the opportunity to work closely with the business and learn all aspects of HR Administration within our award winning Company.

Reporting to the HR Advisor, you will provide an effective, proactive and professional service to the business and will be trained up and qualify in a Business Administration Level 3 qualification. There will be an Assessor who comes out to support you in the work place to achieve your qualification. To excel in this role you will be passionate and enthusiastic, ideally with A-levels or a BTEC qualification already.

Main role: [will include but not be limited to]:

This L3 Business Admin apprenticeship will blend on-the-job experience and in-company training with periodic block-release study at a training centre.

The Apprentice will be supporting the delivery of the Aldwyck Academy through meticulous planning, amazing customer service, and fantastic attention to detail. This role ensures that the Academy delivers its operational promises and creates an incredible learning environment.

Duties include:

Supporting the Academy Team to deliver amazing learning activities across the organisation Managing the day to day administration and coordinating training activities across Aldwyck Administrating and improving our eLearning system and the learning resources it supports Maintaining our learning environments and work with trainers and facilitators to create great learning resources Maintaining and improving our learning records and the learning profiles that we maintain Continued development through the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship (and achieving this within the two-year period)

Desired qualification requirements:

Five Grade 4 or above GCSE’s or equivalent.

Working week:

5 days per week,

Monday - Friday,

9am – 5pm,

£10,000 per annum

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
