SEN Teaching Assistant - South Birmingham - ASAP

Academics Ltd are supporting an SEN School in South Birmingham with their search for SEN Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible. The School caters for students with a statement of needs that require additional support accessing the curriculum. In order to take on this teaching assistant role you will need to be creative, imaginative and solution focused. We are currently looking for three people who feel they are well suited and have a passion for working with Special Educational Needs and who are flexible to work day to day.

The role

One to one support- mentor and provide other means of support to people with Special Educational Needs.Assisting children with a statement of needsAdhering to safeguarding guidelines and school policiesAssisting class teacher with student support.

Liaising with parents and teachers regarding progress and specialised individual programmes
