Part time Bookkeeper (24 hours)

Our fantastic client in Surrey requires a part time Bookkeeper to oversee the Sage Accounting (Sage 50), Payroll, VAT returns, employee records, HMRC & Statutory reporting and other general administration. The candidate should have a good working knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and dedication, as well as desire to learn, and are able to work on their own and to time constraints.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Purchase, Sales & Nominal Ledger
• Credit control
• Supplier Payments
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and the Annual Summary
• Bank Reconciliation
• Producing the weekly banking
• Preparation of Monthly Management accounts
• Accruals & prepayments
• Preparing Year End Accounts
• Processing of weekly and monthly payroll and filing necessary returns with HMRC
• Fixed assets and depreciation
• Ad hoc accounting and admin duties
Qualifications and Skills
Good working knowledge in Sage 50, Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must have your own transport due to location.
