Job Title: 0-25 Together Service Manager
Location: Countywide Coverage with office base at Apsley, Hemel Hempstead
Salary Range: £47,579 progressing to £50,610pa PLUS £5k annual market forces payment
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Permanent

0-25 Together Service is a specialist service for disabled children, young people, young adults and their families. We focus on keeping citizens safe, enabling their independence and ensuring that they can take part in their local community.

The service you will help deliver works collaboratively with Health and Education colleagues and supports young people by supporting their preparation for adulthood. We are a service motivated by and dedicated to continuously improving social work practice.

Our aim is to support individuals to be an influential and active member of their community by promoting true citizenship.

Our practitioners strive to engage people, partners and providers to promote inclusive community options and self-directed purchased services.

You will join an experienced and supportive leadership team who are forward thinking and know what good looks like.

The role of a Service Manager is to be resilient and robust as well as imaginative and reflective with the ability to coach and mentor others to become our leaders of tomorrow.

You must be a qualified and registered social worker adhereing to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standard of proficiency with clear demonstrable understanding of safeguarding children and be familiar with related statutory process. You will have nurses in your Service too, so if you can demonstrate experience of multi-disciplinary working we would love to hear about that.

The successful candidate will be required to attend meetings both in and out of county on a frequent basis. Therefore, you will need to have a full UK driving licence.
