Hampton's Resourcing have exclusively partnered with Ivory Cottage to manage the recruitment project of a whole staff team in their brand-new Residential Children's Home in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
Ivory Cottage believe every child is unique and individual and ensure that each young person gets dedicated care and support to meet their individual needs. Due to past trauma or neglect, young people have a range of complex needs and each has his/her own personalised care plan.
At the heart of Ivory Cottage is a Social Pedagogy and Restorative Justice model of Therapeutic Care.
As the Registered Manager, you will be the first hire in this new team. You will be involved from day one in the recruitment of the team, the development of the service and the personal touches that you want to make.
Based in Kenilworth, the home will be registered for 5 children with Complex Needs and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties. With a team comprising of a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, 2 Senior Care Workers (Team Leaders) and 6 Residential Support Workers along with an MDT consisting of a Child Psychologist and Children's Social Worker.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join a new organisation and be part of shaping our residential pathway from the very outset.
To be considered for this Registered Manager position, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:
- You will need to have a track record of managing Good or Outstanding provision and developing skilled and caring staff teams that achieve great outcomes for children and young people.
- You will have experience of recruiting, inducting and devising training programmes for residential staff
- You will have extensive experience in working alongside social work teams and engaging families and partners agencies - including education, health and the police.
Salary - £38,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and qualifications
