Boarding Support Worker FTC
We are currently recruiting for a Boarding Support Worker to join the team within an Independent SEN residential school with charitable status for children aged 10-19 years with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We are looking to appoint a dynamic, committed and knowledgeable person to support school students in a boarding environment.
Duties of the Role· Supporting students with developing life skills and encourage them to realise their full potential through different educational pathways, alongside access to therapy and care. · Arranging, delivering and supervising extra-curricular activities · Supervising day to day living and enhancing the skills · Working as a member of the care team and wider school team to motivate and maintain a positive and caring environment for the children.
The role is on a fixed term contract, lasting for approximately 1 year, and will be during term time only. The successful candidate will work as part of an outstanding team, supporting the school’s residential provision and safeguarding work. An ability to teach, motivate and cultivate a positive and dynamic environment for the students is essential.
