ADVANZR is a biztech platform that plans to provide a range of online services to help SME’s advance, build, and grow faster.

We are looking for someone to serve as our first client CFO with the opportunity of fast-tracking to become the Head of our CFO Practice.

YOU WILL WORK REMOTELY FROM HOME AND THUS CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE UK.

THE ROLE WILL INITIALLY BE PART TIME BUT WILL EVOLVE AND BECOME FULL TIME AS THE BUSINESS GROWS.

You must be comfortable with smart working using the latest accounting (such as Xero, ReceiptBank, Spotlight Reporting, etc) and communication (such as Skype, Zoom, slack, etc) technologies to deliver our services and interact with clients and staff.

Each Client CFO will provide integrated business advisory, financial management, finance raising, and compliance services for a portfolio of clients.

Outcomes

• Grow annual revenues of the CFO practice to £5m by year five and to £25m by year ten;
• Recruiting, training, developing and managing client CFO’s to achieve revenue targets;
• Evaluating and selecting the best technology and outsourcing partners to work with;
• Developing our technology and app stack in conjunction with our technology team to deliver outstanding services to clients.

Experience

• A qualified accountant who is a member of a recognized accounting institute or body;
• Must have worked in practice as well as in commerce and industry at FD/CFO level;
• Extensive financial management and commercial experience;
• Well developed client and staff management skills;
• Wide sector exposure, SME, strategy, systems implementation, tax, fund-raising, and recruitment experience preferable.

Remuneration

We plan to bootstrap the business, so no salary will be paid until the business can afford to do so. Instead as a co-founder, you will be awarded share options. The share options will vest independently over a period of up to ten years based on the following criteria:

• length of service;
• achieving personal milestones;
• achieving business growth milestones.

Smart Working

The business will operate a smart working policy with:

• all team members and staff working flexible hours (to suit personal and client needs) from their own home office;
• all clients being serviced remotely via of combination of Skype (or similar), telephone, and slack (or similar).
