An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager to grow and diversify the College’s short course offer – increasing the range and a number of courses delivered and achieving a higher income.

The successful candidate will manage the work of trainers and assessors and develop bespoke short courses for clients. Ensure the back-office functions of data management, enrolment, room bookings and fee collection operate effectively and efficiently and lead on internal and external audits.

The ideal candidate is proactive and is able to use their own initiative to deliver results. He/she has excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus. The post requires a high degree of IT literacy and the ability to analyse written and numerical information.

Experience of working in an educational environment is essential as is excellent management skills. An understanding of industry training is essential, management in the work-based learning sector is highly desirable
