Management Accountant - flexible working and remote working possibilities
The Rosalind Franklin Institute has a unique mission to develop novel technologies which will advance life science, and ultimately human health. We are an independent charity funded through the UK government, formed through a partnership between ten leading UK universities and UKRI. We are now looking for a Management Accountant who will be responsible for the effective and robust management of the Institute’s finances.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for both the strategic and operational level financial management underpinning the Vision, Strategy and Delivery Plans and Charitable Objectives of the Institute.
The ideal candidate will have experience helping to build financial systems and processes and ensuring robust accounting of financial activities. The candidate will develop a strong sense of the strategic vision for the Institute, being able to identify financial risks and opportunities which will enable us to meet our charitable objectives, and to contribute to the vision for the next phase of the organisation.
This is a unique opportunity to join a new Institute at an incredibly exciting time, and to have real impact on projects of international significance in science.
We are committed to diversity in all aspects of our work. We welcome requests to discuss flexible working possibilities (for example, flexible or compressed hours, elements of remote working) for this position, and will work hard to accommodate where possible.
