Early Help Family Keyworkers

(Best Start Family Solutions Team)

Early Help and Children’s Social Care

Salary range is £30,930 to £32,637

Are you passionate about improving the lives of children and families? Are you a skilled professional who puts children at the heart of your practice? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

Croydon is transforming its approach to early help, radically changing the way we work with children and families to ensure they are offered the right help, at the right time, and in the right way to make a difference.

We need family keyworkers who want to make a real and lasting difference for children and their families to join our newly formed locality early help teams. You will work with children and young people (0-18) and their families, requiring intensive support, working alongside them to support them to achieve positive and lasting change.

Based within one of our three locality teams, you will take a systemic approach to early help. Supporting children and their families in identifying families’ strengths and their needs and supporting them to improve outcomes, build resilience and improve their life chances. You will support children and their families to make positive changes to ensure their children and young people reach their potential.

We are looking for individuals who are able to develop excellent relationships with children, families and professionals and can inspire and motivate to enable change.

Is this is you?

In return for your passion, hard work and commitment we can offer you a supportive working environment with regular reflective one to one and group supervision and an excellent learning and development offer to further enhance your skills and expertise. The council supports flexible and agile working, offers a generous annual leave allowance and a range of staff benefits for you to access.

Interested? We would love to hear from you!
