Science Teaching Role in Luton
Academics are currently looking for a General Science Teacher for an Academy based in Luton.
The role in Luton is to start either now or January 2019 and is a full-time position with the potential of being permanent for the right candidate, the ability to teach KS5 is desirable but not necessary.
What the School is looking for:
Science degree and can teach either Biology or Chemistry.
A passion for Science and a resolve to make a real difference to the lives of their students
A resilient mind-set with an open minded and determined approach to achieving success
Be able to teach pupils from a variety of backgrounds across Key Stages 3-5, to work with them to ignite the fire of those who are more reluctant and lack confidence in this subject area, whilst also catering for our students who are very able to willing to learn
Have a range of robust effective behaviour management strategies that can be employed in the classroom
