We are looking for a Chef de Partie for the College Restaurant in the outskirts of North London which prides itself on healthy, homemade and seasonal produce for the staff, students and visitors. We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to assist the Chef Manager with the day to day duties of a busy College Kitchen.

The successful candidate will supervise staff and ensure high levels of food preparation to deliver to students and visitors. They will also support and motivate colleagues to ensure good working relationships. Knowledge of HACCUP and Allergen regulations is paramount to ensure high level of food standards. The candidate will contribute to controlling costs and assist in managing the restaurant budgets.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 2 years` experience in a similar job
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
  • Ability to use Microsoft applications
  • Have NVQ or City & Guilds Certificate in Catering
  • Would be able to take control of the kitchen in the Chef Manager absence
