Location: Triangle Building, Cambridge

What it's about

To provide comprehensive, confidential and professional assistance in all aspects of the work of Cambridge International's Development Director and to facilitate the smooth running of the division by managing divisional administrative functions.

What you'll be doing
  • Full PA function for the Director, Development
  • Work with Director to oversee divisional budget. Establish and maintain management information systems and co-ordinate budgetary reviews
  • Arrange all aspects of internal and external meetings and preparing meeting and events documentation (e.g. agenda and minutes)
  • Provide accurate and timely agendas for internal and external meetings, making administrative arrangement as necessary and chasing subsequent actions
  • Booking and arranging all travel, training courses and conferences for members of the division
  • Dealing efficiently and extensively with other incoming correspondence and telephone calls, dealing with or referring for advice on action, as appropriate
  • Set up and maintain staff-related systems for the Division and handle staff matters, including confidential and sensitive issues
  • Manage internal and external communications, liaising with external key contacts on behalf of Director, and organise key visits and meeting arrangements (both in the UK and overseas)
  • Represent the Division on cross-divisional and cross-business stream working groups
  • Provide flexible support across the divisional, planning for risk and contingency as appropriate


What we're looking for

Qualifications
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
    Skills
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Ability to demonstrate absolute confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to work accurately on own initiative, to tight and changing deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across divisional, organisational and international boundaries
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Adaptable and flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to demonstrate meticulous accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and implement operational management systems

    Experience
  • Experience in a PA role supporting senior staff
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Experience of dealing with Senior Management
  • Experience of working with computer-based information systems, quality systems.
