We are seeking a Fundraising Support Administrator to join our small but busy team supporting the Fundraising Manager working 14 hours per week based from our Head office. We are a UK wide charitable organisation and the Fundraising Administrator will develop and deliver efficient and effective fundraising administration to support the Fundraising Manager and maximise local and national fundraising opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous charity or fundraising experience to join our team working flexible hours totalling 14 per week.

The main duties will be as follows:-

To support the Fundraising Manager to achieve annual income targets for all fundraising income streams.

To support the Fundraising Manager to development new opportunities to raise funds to support our work.

To develop and deliver an efficient and effective fundraising administration function including the management of funds from fundraising platforms.

To regularly update the CRM system effectively with donation detail and communication updates.

To encourage supporters, individuals, professionals or corporates to become active fundraisers, as well as other forms of voluntary support including gifts in kind, regular giving, and one-off donations.

To thank fundraisers for their contributions and encourage repeat fundraising through cultivating positive relationships.

To contribute towards the engagement of the Support Group network in fundraising activity.

To assist on social media communications which promote forthcoming events and engage supporters.

To support the Fundraising Manager to planning and deliver local and national fundraising events.

To liaise with suppliers to procure fundraising support materials

To distribute promotional and informative literature regarding the charity to suit the needs of our supporters and their fundraising agenda.

To support fundraisers in all areas of online and offline fundraising, providing them with the necessary guidance and resources to effectively manage their fundraising campaign.

Keeping up to date with fundraising code of practice/new regulations.

To provide a point of contact for all areas of the fundraising function when the Fundraising Manager is absent.

To be successful as our Fundraising Administrator you should have knowledge of CRM database systems and knowledge of fundraising ‘good practice’ including Gift Aid regulations. Previous experience of data protection and confidentiality and the use of social media in fundraising activities within the charity sector.
