Churchill Howard are working in partnership with a UK leading business based south of Birmingham looking for a qualified accountant to join their business as a Treasury Manager. They are looking for a qualified accountant from a top 10 practice to step into industry at a senior level. In this role you will be supporting the business with its strategic objectives through innovative process implementation. You will also ensure that treasury reporting is of a high quality and standard for the Group. In this role you will be expecting to progress into a more senior role in Treasury or the wider finance team within 18 - 24 months. There is also an opportunity to take on 2 direct reports in this role. You will not be expected to have any treasury experience to bring to the role as this will be developed but you may be from an audit / controls background to add value.
Other responsibilities include:
* Provision of longer term financial stability to the organisation with the provision of refinancing
* Strategic business project involvement
* Staff management (once established in the role)
* Cash flow forecasting and management
* Treasury KPI reporting
* Implement innovative treasury processes and controls improvements
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA qualified) and will demonstrate a willingness to progress with their career and strong communication skills.
