Our client is a world leading manufacturer of mechanical engineering components, sealing technology and rotating equipment. They sell into numerous industrial sectors including power, oil & gas, defence & aerospace, food & beverage, process, pharmaceutical and chemicals. This established brand is now looking to expand their world class commercial team and they are looking to recruit a professional and polished Area Sales Representative to develop and enhance their relationships with new and existing customers.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing brand who are considered market leaders within their field. This will be a home-based role with total flexibility to plan and manage your working day as you see fit. You will be building high level relationships within your personal portfolio of existing accounts, as well as increasing sales with new customer acquisitions.
You will manage a variety of key accounts including competitor analysis and identifying new business opportunities, gaining commitment from major industrial, process and manufacturing customers. You will have clear ideas and processes, and a proven track record in Field Sales.
Candidates; we are looking for ambitious, commercially savvy candidates who enjoy having full control over their working day, able to self-manage and enjoy working in a mature environment. We expect the successful candidate to be a self-starter, motivated and eager learn new skills with experience of industrial / engineering sales. You will have a proven track record of achieving challenging targets and experience of working within an engineering environment. You’ll be an outstanding communicator, with a desire and willingness to provide excellent customer service.
You will have the ability to demonstrate an understanding of company forecasting and budgeting, with a good knowledge and understanding of the working region and a proven track record of selling engineering products, services and or components. You will have a high intellect and strong educational background [engineering, technical or business related].
