Becoming a Team Leader with Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP):

As a Team Leader, you will take ownership for your department's processes, managing a specific part of the pipeline for Army applications, as part of the National Recruiting Centre (NRC) service provision.

Inherent in the role is the requirement to lead and develop a team to deliver a high standard of service and to act as a point of escalation for relevant queries within your team. The nature of the work requires you to be aware of and adhere to all internal policies and procedures and be able to manage your teams within these parameters.

These are full time roles based in Upavon.

What you will do:

  • Lead and inspire your team to achieve targets and performance management of the individuals within your team

  • Monitor all aspects of team performance and run team meetings, ensuring that you keep your team fully updated

  • Coach and train individuals to improve motivation and performance and manage Quality Assurance processes

  • Encourage and facilitate strong work relationships with other departments and wider business areas

  • Ensure that the Service Level Agreements are maintained so that all work is carried out and paperwork is completed legibly and returned within the agreed quality and timeframes, where appropriate.

  • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort

Your experience will include:

  • Team Leader or Supervisory experience is essential, with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Experience in motivating, developing and appraising individuals to deliver a high standard of work
  • Ability to plan and organise self and team
  • Decisiveness and good judgement, with the ability to make decisions at short notice or with little information
  • Experiencing in training other desirable
  • Experience in managing administrators or a clinical background is desirable, but this is not essential
