Are you keen to take the next step in your career? Are you looking to work for a company that does things a bit differently?

As a Communications Partner in our award-winning communications team you’ll help to deliver a content led approach to communications including digital and social media and will be instrumental in delivering and building our digital presence online.

You’ll be able to hit the ground running and have two to three years proven communications experience under your belt either in-house or in a PR agency. Experience working in the housing sector would be an advantage but is not essential. You’ll be a team player with the confidence to suggest new ways of working. We need a strong communicator, who is comfortable working to tight deadlines and has a flair for building good working relationships both within the business and with our external partners.

At Aster, we believe that work isn’t somewhere you go, it’s something you do, and we trust our colleagues to make their own decisions about what works for them. When we talk about flexibility, we don’t just mean flexible working in the traditional sense. We’re challenging the norms of the typical workplace culture and focusing instead on our people achieving agreed outcomes in support of our wider corporate strategy.

Being recognised recently by Mumsnet as a ‘Family Friendly’ company acknowledges how our approach can make a real difference to the way our people work.

In return we want you to love what you do and help us to achieve our vision that everyone has a home.

If you think you fit the bill and you’re ready for a new challenge we’d love to hear from you.

About Aster:

Aster Group is working towards its vision of ensuring everyone has a home.

We provide safety and security through our reliable landlord services and we supply a wide range of housing options in response to the housing crisis.

Helping guide what we do are our six business priorities, which turn our vision into the delivery of good quality services and more homes. Whether it’s through building more new homes, maintaining the thousands of homes we own, providing good services to our customers or making a commitment to giving back through the work of the Aster Foundation, we aim to carefully balance a commercial approach with our social heart.

To continue the great work we do into the future we are clear that we need to continue growing our business and find more effective and innovative ways of working. Our transparent culture means our colleagues and customers are able to clearly understand not just our long term goals, but also our detailed plans, and those initiatives and projects that will impact our communities.

Closing date 27 January 2019.

Interviews will take place Wednesday 13 February 2019.
