Job Title: Purchase Ledger Supervisor

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £22,000 - £22,500

The Role

  • Optimising the efficiency and performance of the Purchase ledger through active administrative support

  • Staff supervision and allocation of duties / rota

  • Maintain the posting of purchase invoices to the ledger, through matching delivery notes and price checking as determined by the Purchase Ledger Supervisor

  • Dealing with supplier queries as they arise on a daily basis

  • Report to senior personnel any breach of security or any act of dishonesty by a member of the public, visitor or member of staff

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk experience and will have:

  • Previous experience of working within a busy Purchase Ledger team

  • Experience of supervising other members of the team either within a Finance role or from a previous position

  • Solid IT skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail

  • Team player

  • Self-motivated

  • Previous experience of high-volume reconciliation

20 days Holiday + Stats

Hours 9.00am - 5.30pm

Occasional Saturdays required which will be paid at overtime rate
