HRS are currently looking for a Sales Manager - Western Europe to join a leading Water Technology company focusing on the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry. As the Sales Manager - Western Europe you will be home based and be responsible driving sales in the Western EU territory, whilst ensuring market knowledge and needs are fed back to product development. In this role, you will be supporting the distributors and the key accounts managers within UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Lux, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Portugal and Switzerland. You will be required to travel up to 50%- 60% internatioanlly.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Sales Manager - Western Europe will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Create and manage a sales pipeline for key accounts across Western Europe in order to achieve financial targets. In addition, work closely with commercial teams to set growth targets of different business units.

2. Take the lead in ensuring regular scheduled meetings with Distributors and Key Account Managers and review relationship and secure long-standing business..

3. Be the technical expert in our clients products, providing sales and marketing support to distributors as needed networks as needed.

4. Maintain good knowledge of competitor strategy and activity to identify new areas of business growth.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Sales Manager - Western Europe we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a a Scientific or Business degree such as Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Engineering.

2. Proven industry experience in a European Sales or Business Development role with a proven track record of brining on new business and exceeding sales targets., as well as managing distribution networks.

3. Fluent in English and another European language is preferable.
