THE COMPANY

The Brewster Partners Recruitmentt Group are currently working alongside a Doncaster based Financial Services business to recruit a Trainer on an initial 18 month contract. Following the launch of a brand new and exciting project, the successful candidate's role will be to design and deliver coaching and training across the UK and to offer support from induction through to role competence and beyond.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Training/ Learning and Development candidates. The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the country but will need to be able to travel regularly.

THE JOB

As Trainer, duties will include:

  • Deliver induction training and sign off
  • Assess competency against sales competency standards
  • Field based observation and feedback
  • Design blended training programmes including Digital learning resources
  • Learning needs analysis for on-going improvements to the learning offering
  • Evaluate ROI thorough Kirkpatrick methodology
  • Coaching and Mentoring for all employees
  • Keeping up to date with latest trends
  • Providing specific expert training on how to sell Motor Finance compliantly to our dealers, either through one on one training or presenting to a larger group
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of Motor Finance products
  • Maintain an awareness of the compliance issues around Motor Finance and be able to demonstrate awareness and changes within legislation - Work with the Governance Team to ensure that all material is compliant and recorded
  • Demonstrate "added value" by being able to increase their awareness to the benefits of increased CBMF finance penetration and maintain growth by consistency in training and development
  • Build and maintain relationships at all levels through effective stakeholder management
  • Pro-actively work with respective Sales Managers to identify the training needs within each portfolio and work with the Sales Managers to promote and appoint the training
  • Retaining accurate version controls of all training material so that the individual can demonstrate to the Governance Department that adequate controls are in place to identify material changes
  • Pro-actively working with the Marketing Department to ensure that all communications are both accurate and compliant. Additionally, a long-term relationship is required with Marketing to ensure that an agreed programme of delivery is agreed
  • Maintaining accurate training records

THE PERSON

  • L&D experience within a fast-paced sales environment
  • CIPD qualification would be desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions
  • Able to work in agile manner
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to record data and follow the reporting requirements of the role without prompting.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate to a group of people as well as undertaking a one on one training session
  • Previous experience of training and developing individuals, proven track record of success within a training environment, regardless of client type
  • Team player able to take direction from various sources within the business whilst being able to priorities accordingly
  • Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised - Proven track record of being able to work with confidence and un-supervised
