Range and Display Planner Micro Space Planner

We currently have a brilliant opportunity for a Range and Display Planner to join our team based at our Travel Head Office currently based in Holborn London, but moving to exciting new offices in Liverpool Street very soon! In this challenging and fast paced role you will create and deliver ranges and planograms for the Travel stores across our estate.
This role would suit someone who is working in retail within Range Display Planning / Micro Space Planning or Analytical Merchandising roles, or someone who is analytical with a creative flair.
What you'll do
You will create and deliver ranges and planograms for stores which support the financial objectives of the business (including sales, margin and supplier income) whilst maintaining and updating the Space database ensuring all space in stores is accurately documented. You'll create and maintain commercially viable planograms using our in-house Spaceman suite ensuring these are available for stores via the intranet, creating sales and space analysis to support ranging decisions to support the delivery of Merchandising KPI's.
You will provide visually high impact planograms to drive sales, margin and profitability and analyse data (margin, rate of sale etc.) to ensure optimum range construction and ongoing improvement of the customer offer. You'll need to keep up to date on competitor ranges and display techniques, and liaise with suppliers over range merchandising and product positioning.
Who we're looking for
You will have previous experience in merchandising, micro space / range and display planning with strong analysis skills and a high level of Excel skills (VLookups & Pivot Tables minimum). You will need to be a highly effective and engaging communicator, with the credibility to influence at all levels of the business. This is an excellent role to combine creativity with commerciality so alongside your commercial skills you must have experience developing creative planograms and demonstrate an excellent understanding of merchandising principles.
