I am looking for a Community Psychiatric Nurse for a role with an Early intervention in Psychosis Team in Bradford. The role is Band 6, full time and will involve working, 09:00-17:00, Monday-Friday for a period of 3 months although this may be extended.

Salary - Band 6

£20.00-£24.00 (Umbrella Limited) per hour, depending on experience.

Role Summary:

Community Mental Health Nurse will be accountable for the coordination of care plans for people whore are in the early stages of Psychotic illness between the ages of 14 upwards. He/She will work as an autonomous practitioner managing and prioritising individual caseload and will act as a Care Co-ordinator within the Care Programme Approach. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for a defined caseload of people with complex mental health and/or social care needs. The roles also requires ability and skills to input data in the clinical information system (RIO): e.g. including risk assessments, care plans, CPA, crisis and contingency plans.

•Registered with the NMC as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
•Nursing qualification
•Recent experience working at a Band 6 level or equivalent
•Must be able to engage with patients/clients
•Must be a car driver.
•Evidence of vaccination/immunity for TB (BCG), Hep B, MMR and Varicella (chicken pox).
•Must be eligible to work in the UK
