We require an Account Director to join this exciting Experian growth initiative, driving Data Management propositions across our existing customer base, and prospects, supporting the Experian Sales teams across the UK.

Within the solutions available, Experian has just released an exciting tool to the market, Aperture Data Studio which combines self-service data quality management with the power of Experian data to help our customers seamlessly combine their data with our data. This tools allows modern data practitioners to build the most consistent, accurate and holistic view of consumers and supports powerful propositions such as SCV, Operational Data Quality and Data Migration.

Experian has invested significantly in Aperture as a product and our capabilities to position ourselves for success. This proposition will continue to evolve as we add more and more Experian data into this platform, to enable customers to take control of their data, whilst utilising the power of Experian data. This is a fantastic timing and a great opportunity for the right individual to join the team.

The successful candidate will engage across Experian, supporting sales colleagues to identify opportunities, provide the expertise required, and drive through the sales within existing and new accounts. This a challenging sales role working as part of a small, close knit sales team in a fast- paced environment where your contribution plays an integral part to the success of the team and the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and follow a business plan focussed on key propositions and meeting defined targets for new business.

  • Regular client meetings, working with and through the account owner, will be required in order to build qualified pipeline.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Aperture and Data Management it's potential applications and our capabilities - be the go-to expert for colleagues and clients.

  • Understand in detail the propositions in the business that include Aperture, and ensure that you understand the wider capabilities to cross sell if required.

  • Work in collaboration with Experian colleagues including Go-To-Market Sales and Consultancy to identify and develop Aperture opportunities with new and existing clients from prospect to contract.

  • Represent Experian widely in the marketplace and at industry events - establish a network of influential contacts.

  • Contribute significantly towards the Aperture roadmap providing insight from the industry.

  • Maintain and share a comprehensive understanding of the industry, regulations, competitors, use cases.

  • Achieve revenue budgets, and forecast accurately.

  • Regular and consistent attendance at sales/pipeline/opportunity reviews and account reviews is required.

  • Proven ability to deliver consistent results against financial targets over an extended period of time

  • Significant experience in a highly consultative, business development focussed role

  • Ability to perform under pressure in a competitive environment

  • Commercially astute with an ability to influence and negotiate at all levels

  • Ability to influence internally and externally.

  • Curiosity and intellect to build considerable sector knowledge and be considered a Data Management Expert by clients, colleagues and industry peers.

  • Proven track record in building strong relationships and with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Organised and with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to perform under pressure in a competitive environment

  • Strong communication, presentation and time management skills.

  • Ideally trained with a recognised sales methodology
