Contract: 2 x Permanent, 1x Fixed Term (Until October 2020)

Salary: £19,600-£24,500

Location: Cambridge & Whittlesford

What it's about

Exam Processing is a diverse and fast-paced team within the Operations division of Cambridge Assessment International Education and is committed to excellence and delivering the right results for our candidates. As part of our team you will be joining a supportive group who work together to ensure that every candidate has the correct mark prior to issuing results. The Exam Processing Administrator plays a vital role within this team engaging with internal and external stakeholders on a wide range of activities. You will be responsible for the accurate delivery of a set of processes while managing several competing deadlines. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills who is pro-active and highly organised. Occasional work in our Whittlesford office might be required during our peak periods.

What you'll be doing

You will:

· Develop an in-depth knowledge of Cambridge International operational processes and carry them out to the agreed quality standards and schedules

· Process and analyse data accurately, respond to customer queries, investigate issues and perform quality checks on data

· Contribute ideas to process improvements and assist in the design and delivery of improvement projects

· Manage changes to processes and working patterns

· Keep procedure documents updated

· Supervise and train temporary colleagues

· Cover ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Exam Processing Coordinators or Group Manager

What we're looking for


· 5 GCSE at grade A-C, or equivalent, including Mathematics and English, is essential

· A-level or equivalent is desirable


· Excellent administrative and organisational skills

· Confident business communication skills

· Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Exceptional attention to detail

· Ability to learn new skills and processes easily and quickly

· Ability to prioritise own workload and manage conflicting priorities


· Working in a busy administrative role to tight deadlines

· Maintaining spreadsheets and databases

· Introducing process improvements

· Email and phone communication with customers

· Following written procedures

· Liaising with multiple stakeholders


· Flexible and adaptable
