The Company:



Nigel Wright are delighted to be working with a key client in the Education sector to assist with their search for a Competence Manager to join their Operations team.

The Role:

  • Coordination, cost planning and assessment of project delivery
  • To understand and report on course delivery and demographics
  • Support strong planning mechanisms and information systems for learners and customers
  • Plan development of services offered
  • Work with the compliance team to manage and monitor visits
  • Lead development of e-portfolio integration
  • Manage assessment of competence

Person Requirements:

  • An understanding of compliance and regulations within the education sector
  • Commercially aware
  • Ability to assist and support development of the Ofsted common inspection framework
  • Knowledge of external inspection regime and awarding organisation requirements
  • Understanding of budget setting and cost control

Education and Work Experience



Enhanced DBS check required

V1 or D34 with V1 update (or QCF equivalent)

A1 or D32/D33 with A1 update (or QCF equivalent)

Supervisory or management qualification
