Reed Accountancy & Finance are working closely with an innovative and leading supplier within the telecoms industry and are actively recruiting for a Sales Ledger / Credit Control Assistant to join their team.

The Role

The duties and responsibilities will include the ownership of the company sales and debtor’s ledger, recovery of debts, allocating debtor cash receipts accurately, preparing invoices and statements and liaising with debtors in relation to queries and outstanding issues.

This is a stand-alone role working as part of a small team. You will however be working with a qualified Accountant and so will have the opportunity to gain more experience.

Day to Day Duties to include:

Raising and releasing sales invoices
Preparing and raising credit notes
Controlling all debt collection and allocation
Query handling and resolution
Admin duties as required

Person Specification

Previous experience in a similar role

Excellent IT experience including a computerised Accounts Package

Have a good telephone manner and high customer service outlook

Attention to detail and ability to accurately work with financial information

Flexible, proactive and able to assist the wider finance team with ad hoc duties

Salary dependent on experience – (£20’000 per annum)
