Team Leader - Leaving Care Supported Accommodation Services - Hatfield
You will have a level 3 diploma in Children's Residential Childcare or equivalent and be working towards a level 5 (or prepared to do so) and experience of working with a similar group of young people.

£10.30 per hour, £45.00 per sleep in, flexible shift pattern, full time post available.

Our 16 plus Leaving Care Services are expanding on a nationwide basis - we are therefore looking to grow our team. The Children’s Division within CareTech provides Residential Care, Fostering and Supported Accommodation to some of the most amazing Young People across the UK. The commitment, passion and support of our current staff teams speaks for itself; with a number of success stories of how we have supported a Young Person to live their life to the full and go on to succeed to their full potential.
We have over 60 Children’s Services across the UK, and are now looking to expand further within our division. In this role, no day is the same - one day you might be hiking up a mountain, the next you might be supporting a Young Person to appointments, or using your culinary skills to teach Young People to prepare and cook a nutritious meal. We are looking for compassionate, empowering, and friendly individuals who can really make a difference to our Young People. A good sense of humour helps.
Our Team Leaders provide support to our Project Coordinators with recruitment, rotas and promote the well being, welfare, safety and personal development of the young people receiving our service. The Team Leaders lead and direct the day to day operational management of the service which requires the ideal candidate to have the skills and knowledge to manage resources and develop staff as well as having knowledge of the regulations and requirements of a successful 16 plus service.
Every Young Person that we support is treated as an individual with their own story and journey. We are seeking Support Workers who are adaptable, able to work under pressure, and who can work flexibly. In return you can expect:
