The Role - Operations Manager:

Full-time role based in offices in Hertfordshire

This role will be working alongside the Flight Team to ensure every flight from booking to touchdown (and beyond) goes perfectly. The Operations Manager will be managing a small team ensuring seamless customer service.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the seamless operation of every flight; from sale to post flight actions
  • Liaising with customers on the phone, email, messaging and in person
  • Coordinating with their supply chain of aircraft operators, support team and crew
  • Organising ancillary services such as catering and ground transport
  • Checking all operational aspects of the flight including airport and ATC slots & weather
  • Managing 2 assistants and their roster
  • Improving Standard Operating Procedures and documenting changes in their Ops Manual
  • Meeting and greeting clients at airports
  • Occasional European travel and possible trips to the companies US office
  • Working alongside the marketing team on customer retention initiatives
  • Requesting post flight feedback and reviews

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Have an ability to communicate professionally with high profile and High Net Worth Individuals
  • Feel confident working in a dynamic fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • Be an engaging individual with a can-do attitude and comfortable working towards both individual goals and team objectives

Key Skills:

  • Excellent and fluent written and spoken English is essential
  • Experience in the aviation industry (ideally in private aviation)
  • Professional and polished communication skills
  • Advanced technology and computer skills
  • Ability to absorb and enjoy new responsibility
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail and highly organised

Beneficial attributes:

  • Passion for aviation or aircraft
  • Languages (French, German or Spanish) would be a bonus but not essential
