Maintenance Administrator

Position: Maintenance Administrator 
Location: Brandlesholme, Greater Manchester 
Job type: Part Time, Permanent 
Salary: £Competitive 

About the role: 

The Maintenance Administrator is responsible for the coordination of maintenance service and inspection activities by external service providers across all locations and sites. 


- Develop and implement maintenance & operational plans for your area of responsibility 
- Coordinate your area of responsibility 
- Ensure departmental compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements 
- Check departmental training matrix and identify / report any training needs 
- Update and maintain accurate database and service records 
- Encourage innovation in your area of responsibility 
- Ensure all ppm schedules are in place, in date and being worked to. Update HDS where required. 
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed to a satisfactory standard 
- Ensure that all noted remedial actions from statutory examinations and in house ppm inspections are completed within the timescales set 
- Management of Construction site hire equipment in hire with Wl 1551 
- Assist in introducing new asset management and software systems 
- On occasions work for procurement department on administration tasks 

About you: 

- 5 GCSE grades C 
- Academic qualifications (City & Guilds / BTEC) (or equivalent) 
- IOSH Managing Safely 
- Minimum 3 years' experience in administration role. Good H&S awareness 
- Good communication skills 
- A willingness to continually improve the department and individuals. 
- People Management, leadership, Strategic thinking, Sector Knowledge, Commercial awareness, Analytical thinking, Planning
