Accountant / Financial Controller role in the Mildenhall area for a growing SME.

Your new company
A leading local organisation which continues to develop and expand is seeking an Accountant to join them in the job role of Financial Controller at their site located near Mildenhall.

Your new role
Reporting to the onsite Director and into Group, you will be responsible for managing the daily accounts function with key responsibilities including:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals, prepayments and journals
- Cash-flow management and reporting
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Sales and margin analysis reporting
- Overseeing the purchase and sales ledger activities

What you'll need to succeed
You will be AAT Qualified or Qualified by Experience with experience of management accounts preparation alongside possessing confident IT and systems skills. Excel to pivot table and v-look-up level is essential. A proactive, professional and down to earth manner with the ability to work closely with non-finance staff across the business will be key.
