We are seeking to recruit a part time Lecturer to deliver a 5 week Mental Health Awareness class to adults as part of our Community provision at our Woodlands Campus, Auckland Drive, Smith’s Wood. B36 0NE.

Sessions will take place on:

Thursdays 10.00am – 12.00pm at Woodlands Campus from 2nd May 2019

You will be delivering a programme which will enable students to explore mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and stress including statistics, data, symptoms and support agencies.

The course may be delivered at other venues in due course.

You will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and have the ability to work as part of a team and independently.

You must have a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one in order to deliver all programmes in a timely manner to ensure high levels of student satisfaction, attendance, retention and ultimately success. You will be an excellent administrator – well organised and able to meet deadlines. You will also have excellent communication skills as it is important to have regular contact and half-termly meetings with the rest of the Community Learning Team.
