All round experienced Accounts Assistant with processing experience and some previous knowledge of preparing management accounts would be ideal to assist the FD with the whole accounting function in a busy event and communications agency.  Some HR experience would also be preferred but not essential. Flexible working over 4 days per week with some home working potential. QBO would be desirable.

  • End-to-end staff expenses process
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Credit control
  • Running weekly reports
  • Assisting with financial year-end figures – accruals, pre-payments, and depreciation
  • Transferring and registering information logged from the events team regarding bookings of suppliers and freelancers
  • End-to-end management of purchase orders and invoices
  • Issuing monthly statement to suppliers upon request and for internal records
  • Chasing suppliers for monthly statements for our purchasing activity
  • Creating and maintaining log of suppliers
  • Managing internal spread sheets such as; expenses, credit cards, suppliers, VAT etc.
  • Monitoring and analysing information on company cards
  • Reconciling and reporting month end figures leading to investigation of any discrepancies
  • Calculating foreign VAT
  • Checking to ensure Purchase Orders request are in line with the budget
  • Assisting with Audit Preparation
  • Assisting with solutions to streamlining accounts processes
  • Raising sales invoices
  • QBO, Receipt Bank systems
  • HR Support on People HR - holiday ad hoc support
