Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: Up to £36K + Bonus

Amber Mace are currently recruiting for a passionate and motivated Deputy Manager to join the team at a small nursing home located in Sutton-in-Ashfield. The home, comprising of two 10 bedded units, is a specialist facility which provides care for adults with complex mental health needs, caring for those with neuro-disability, mental health problems and those living with early onset dementia.

The home offers a fantastic range of facilities to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals, including adapted sensory bathrooms, a therapy kitchen and a lovely secure garden which can be accessed by all! In addition, they currently have a GOOD` CQC report across the board and are currently looking for a clinical nurse manager to join the team!

The Role:
• Act as a role model in the clinical setting demonstrating the delivery of evidence based, client centred care
• Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
• Line manage the Nursing and care support staff
• Facilitate and manage the provision of high quality specialist support to Service Users ensuring that each service user has an appropriate care support management plan in place that is based on their needs, values and standards
• Ensure that Safe, evidenced based practice is employed at all times and in accordance to policies and procedures and within Care Quality Commission [CQC] Other statutory regulators requirements and guidelines
• Ensure accurate documentation is kept in relation to all aspects of care support
• To recruit, train and develop a skilled, dedicated and knowledgeable team who are dedicated to meeting the ongoing needs of the residents and that care is provided in a compassionate and dignified manner

Skills/ Qualifications for Clinical Nurse Manager:
• Hold a current Nurse PIN
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet guidelines
