About the role

You will be working with a unique and gifted team working on a variety of exciting projects and services. Our team is a multidisciplinary group of engineers, data scientists, and business people engaged in a fast-paced environment to deliver mission critical outcomes.

You will be leading the identification and architectural definition of cutting-edge technology solutions that resolve business problems or enable business opportunities.

Working with multiple business stakeholders you will identify appropriate solutions that balance benefits, strategic alignment, costs, risks and other pertinent factors that meet evolving business and technology requirements.

As Solutions Architect you will design, evolve and select solutions within a significant area of the organisation that optimise the balance between functional, service quality and systems management requirements whilst minimising the risk.

You will be mentoring and guiding less experienced architects as well as other technical staff to ensure the application of policy, principles and strategy within an agile development environment. You will select and develop systems architecture components and co-ordinate design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency.

Within a business change programme, manage the target design, policies and standards, working proactively and collaboratively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the enterprise.

About you

Experience in leading evolutionary architecture design work, whilst ensuring consistency.

Experience of working with Agile development teams, facilitating iterative architectural development.

Natural ability in securing buy-in and collaboration to drive dialog with the engineering teams, business stakeholders and across the organisation.

Experience of Archimate v3.0 modelling specification, Enterprise architecture modelling tools such as Sparx EA and an understanding of the TOGAF approach to Enterprise Architecture.

Experience of applying and evolving appropriate standards, policies, patterns and frameworks to solution designs.

Proven ability to determine, interpret, evolve and apply business and technology strategy.
