Are you an experienced Children's Home Manager looking for a new opportunity in the Essex region? If so, I have the perfect role for you.

I am working with a highly regarded private children's residential home provider who have a requirement for a Children's Home Manager to oversee a new home in Essex, The Home will offer an enhanced level of care and support for children and young people aged 11-18 years. You will be working with a team of other professionals who will support you within your role to ensure that the service is offering the best outcomes for those children and young people within care. The home will be registered for emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The Role
This is an exciting role which will include commissioning the new children's home, ready for Ofsted registration, this will include getting a staff team recruited and ready for the admissions to the home.
As the Registered Children's Home Manager you will work with your Regional Manager to ensure that all of the Ofsted regulations are adhered to and that the quality standards within the home remains a priority.

  • Experience in management of Children's homes at Registered Manager level, 3 years or more, you should also be able to evidence Outstanding/Good outcomes with Ofsted
  • Have the skills ambition to make your home the best it can be, both in quality of care and financial performance.
  • Possess the leadership skills to build and lead a successful team.
  • To bring flexible and creative solutions to risk management
  • Be enthusiastic with a committed "can do" attitude
  • Enhanced DBS and references required
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management
