Working for this growing and award winning supply of consumer goods and products to the retail industry and they also provide a bespoke printing service. They are seeking a career driven Sales individual who wants to earn uncapped commission and establish relationships with leading high street retailers!

The company is seeking an experienced Sales Advisor/Sales Agent to deal with inbound and outbound calls and exceed targets whilst providing the highest quality of customer experience to maximise profits.

Your role will involve chasing leads and quotes from customers and converting to sales orders as well as converting lapsed clients. Your duties will include:

  • To be the first point of contact for inbound sales calls
  • Looking after walk-ins and ensuring conversion to of sales targets
  • Making outbound sales calls to target customers
  • Establishing customer requirements quickly
  • Ensuring customer data is up to date and accurate
  • Dealing with Web queries when they arise to minimise customer impact, e.g. alternative products, split deliveries, carriage queries etc
  • Working cross functionally with Estimating team to support generation of quotes in a timely manner
  • Following up on quotes and samples provided
  • Monitoring quotation generation times and escalating delays immediately to Sales Manager
  • Operate in line with all sales protocols and procedures
  • Calculating carriage costs using the Blue Print spreadsheet
  • Ensuring CRM system processes are followed correctly to deliver consistent outputs
  • Promote products and service highlighting features and benefits
  • Provision of all relevant information to potential customers including sample products, pricing etc. ensuring that the information is fully understood
  • Manage the customer experience to expected high standards
  • Tailor approach to meet customer needs and requirements

To apply you must have:

  • Experience in sales and customer service
  • Preferable good working knowledge of the products or the printing industry
  • Significant knowledge of negotiation and sales approaches
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • Ability to establish needs of others in order to provide the right product
  • Good internal and external stakeholder management
  • Ability to interpret and manage self against tracking systems and procedures
  • Experience of ERP and CRM systems (Sage desirable)
