Business Development Executive

£25-28k + Bonus + Benefits

Northwich, Cheshire

A Leading Asset Management Company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced self-motivated business development executive to join our busy financial education team, supporting a UK-wide B2B sales team and their corporate clients to deliver holistic financial wellbeing in the workplace.

  • Prepare pitches, activity and service review reports
  • Work closely with the Events Team to ensure timely and accurate new event bookings, lead recording, invoicing and evaluations (we run over 600 events per year)
  • Contact B2B clients and prospects to arrange appointments
  • Act as liaison between Sales, Events and Marketing to support delivery and employer client reporting
  • Identify new target clients, improve and cleanse target database
  • Develop and utilise network of relevant industry contacts and influencers
  • Work with the Financial Education Sales team to secure and drive employer channel business- nationally and in the main regions
  • Complete business proposals and assist in formal selection processes as required
  • Promote appropriate services through other forums such as exhibitions, conferences, benefit fairs and other client acquisition events
  • Maintain awareness of relevant industry trends and developments in terms of target market and competitor activity

Experience/ Qualifications

  • Sales support & client servicing experience- ideally in a B2B environment or similar
  • Degree level or equivalent
  • Skilled in using CRM and advanced user of MS Office
  • Advanced user of all MS Office
  • A willingness to travel to offsite events as/when required


  • Sales Navigator experience
  • Financial services experience
  • Knowledge of pensions and employee benefits
